Homère

Homère was bred by French rosarian Robert in 1858. It's one of those Teas which are rather rare to find but in Europe Roses Loubert sells her.

Homère bears medium to big light pink with salmon pink center, very full blooms. The petal edges turn violet in hot weather. A real rainbow in full bloom. Fragrance is quite strong. The rose blooms in flushes throughout the season and can go on till late Autumn

Height is 130X100 cm or 5X4 feet, maybe a bit bigger. Zone 6b to 10b. Despite the very full blooms, packed with petals, the flowers are quite rain resistant. They can withstand heat and long periods of drought. Needs full sun to perform to the best of its abilities. Hates pruning.

In full flush Homère is a sight to behold. Named after the famous Greek poet Homerus (Homer /Homère) author of the Ilias and the Odyssee
