Rosette Delizy

This rose always makes me happy when I see her first flowers: Yellow with pink and apricot center and carmine pink outer petals. It's a feast for the eyes. The medium flowers are full and dangle down gracefully from slender, arching branches. Good Tea fragrance.

The rose was bred by Paul Nabonnand in 1921 which is very late for a Tea. Late yes but today she's one of the more popular Teas, especially in Australia. Put her in a border with purple or blue perennials and it's instant magic.

Size is good and controllable: 120X90 cm or 4X3 feet. Don't prune. She makes a rounded, well balanced shrub. Ideal for pots too

Zone 7b to 10b, drought, heat resistant but doesn't like too much rain. Good rebloomer.
