Mme Jules Gravereaux

Mme Jules Gravereaux:

Bred in Luxemburg by Soupert et Notting this magnificent rose was named after the wife of Jules Gravereaux. Jules Gravereaux was the creator of the famous Roseraie de l'Haÿ.

This rose has Rêve d'or as a parent and it clearly shows: Buff to apricot blooms but much bigger and with much more petals. Strong fragrance too!
In my garden she's growing on an Obelisk since 2024 and has done well. As a climber she'll reach 5 meters or 15 feet. The flowers are heat and drought resistant but suffer from rain when the buds are ready to open. They can ball. Zone 7b to 10b. She hates pruning
