Noëlla Nabonnand

Noëlla Nabonnand was bred by Paul Nabonnand from the great Tea rose breeding family Nabonnand. The rose was released in 1901, three years after Paul's death.

It's a rather unusual Tea rose with very big double to very double blooms in a Crimson red color turning purple later in the stadium. They have the typical weak neck syndrome and nod towards us. Buds are big, thick and pointy. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Strong fragrance

Growth is twiggy and thin, ideal to train around an obelisk or tripod. She can reach 300 cm or 9 feet. Needs full sun to thrive. Zone 6b to 10b. Rain and drought resistant.

Noëlla Nabonnand looks like an exotic rose with her big nodding flowers. Very special
